AW4 Flexplate compatibility/interchange

I need to replace the warped flexplate in my XJ and was wondering what years are compatible..
I have a 2K, AW4/231.

I know the Renix ones will not work as their timing is different but would one work from any H.O. or do I need to go 97+ or and I stuck with finding an exact year replacement.

I looked real quick on http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com and it shows the same part number for the driveplate from 1992-2000.
