outside temp guage

3 ideas -
1) You have a loose connection somplace. There a 3 places the console wires plug in. Inside the console, behind the little panel in the passenger footwell, and at the temp sensor. Check the connectors fit or clean the connections and see what happens. 2) Maybe your temp sensor is bad . It is located in the center of the front crossmember, below the radiator and behind the front bumper. Grab a different one from the junkyard (XJ or ZJ will work) or go to the dealer if you still have bad readings. 3) The 0C/32F button is broken on your console. You could go inside the console and connect the wires directly and bypass the switch.
