A few months ago I replaced my front diff with a limited slip.
Best I can remember, the backlash was 7.5 thousands.
After a while I started getting a whine between 35-45 mph regarldless of 2x4 or 4x4, accelerating or decelerating. The only thing that affects it, is temperature.
Near freezing it takes at least half hour before it starts, on a warm day about half that. I find it very annoying and I'd appreciate ideas and opinions.
I keep thinking that I need to reduce the backlash by a couple of thousands.
