1986 cherokee IAC issue?

First off, I cant find anything saying that 86 2.5L TBI's actualy have an IAC. I've found info for 88 and up engines, however people keep saying my running problem sounds like an IAC or vaccum leak. Its not a vaccum issue so that leaves trying the IAC. However I've got descriptions like, it has a coule torx bits and is on the front of the TB, another says it has a square plug.

So, can someone point me i nthe correct directions so I can take it off and try to fix it?
