Know a machine shop in Downey/Lakewood/Longbeach?

To make a long story short, I have a blown headgasket in my MJ ('89 4.0) and want to get an expert opinion on the shape its in, once I tear it down.

Does anyone have a machine shop the recommend to check out at least the head and clean it up if its good? I am in the Downey/Lakewood/Long Beach area.

Also, does anyone know what this usually runs, cost wise?

Not in your ideal area but either CarCo machine in Orange on Kramer, or Valley Engine in fountain Valley.. Both do excellent work...

There is a good machine shop in Redondo Beach/Hawthorne called Vellios that does really good work, and the price is fair.

Theres also Harveys Complete Jeep Shop in LB/Downey but not sure of the work..

I would skip on harveys i had ALOT of work done to a 514 stroker at advanced engine machine in huntington beach. I work in east la and i wouldnt trust any of the machine shops around that area.

Thanks for the recomendations. I am now working on clearing the garage so I can get to work on the rig. I can't stand driveway rust art.
