which 5-spd is better the AX-5 or the AX-15? im tryin to replace the BA-10 in my '88 MJ. whats the difference between the AX-5 and the AX-15?

ax5 is for 4 cyl usage

AX-15 is much stronger, but the mounting between the AX-5 and AX-15 are different. AX-15's have been adapted to fit the 2.5L, but the AX-5 would not last on a 4.0L.

my MJ has the 4.0L so i guess ill go with the AX15. how strong is the AX15 becuz im plannin on puttin the Hesco 4.7L stroker kit in later on down the road. will it hold together with that much power goin to it?

It should work fine, but the later NV-3550 is even stronger. It's found behind 00 and 01 XJs. car-part.com may help you find one.

I agree with Pete. There is a guy locally in Indianapolis, IN that will build you whatever combo that you want and ship it to you.
