ok, I can cut off wheel the end of the output shaft and drill with the engine idling. Tap the hole, engine not idling, less fun I know but saves knuckles. And can machine a new tail housing / seal plate. But what yoke do talk the salvage man into selling me? Take a XJ front shaft with output shaft yoke or?

What you'll need is Spicer #211229x. I purchased one from O'Riellys for around $50. It can also be found on the following vehicles:

80-82 Ford thunderbird.
82-87 Lincoln Continental
79-80 lincoln versailles
84-88 lincoln markvii
80-82 mercury couger

A simple search would have yielded these results. In the future, give search a chance.
