So, are you saying that if you had a frame you could "go big" and not worry about the frame?
Why do people box frame rails?
Why do people reinfore the steering box area on frame rails?
Why do people erroneously think that not having a "real" frame is a "problem"?

yes exactly, why, to all of those questions, i am honestly and completely new to XJ frames so, whatever info would really help thankyou.

there are quite a few posts of extreem reinforcement done to xj's all our posts are searchable so type in cage or boxed framrails or other vairious key words an you should have a good amount of info then come back here to ask more specific questions. also check xjdb.com for another searchable site full of xj pics.

Will that work in my harbor freight unit?

Nope.

The encoder resolution will be your undoing. :D

Even A M81 won't get you around it, nor will changing parameter N0132, N0185. A grid shift might get you close. Check Parameter N0432 on a Fanuc Controller, 6M or better.

The Chinese GE controls suck anyways. :D
