Shackle Degree's

I have a 2.5" AAL and a 5/8" block on the rear of my XJ ,purchasing a TNT 1" boomerang shackle and going to remove the block, I was wondering if any one can tell me about how much pinion angle change ill get with the shackle.

you pinion will point up a small amount. In the range of 1.2-2 degrees. Depends on the current shackle angle.

I'm assuming this new shackle is 2" or so longer than stock to provide an 1" of lift -- Is it not?

Yep 1" of lift , 2" longer then stock.

Let me know how you like thsoe shackles b/c i am looking at getting the 1.5" lift shackles from tnt.
