Ball joint specs?

I have a 1990 MJ and there is play (up and down) on all of the balljoints. No side to side play. What is the spec on these, cant find it in the FSM, Alldate, and Motor manuals.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no allowable verticle play in the ball joints.
