ok, had some time to work on my junk

First I cleaned up my bumper a bit. I regret not slanting the "endcaps" out a bit to come out by the side of the lights: might have to do that at some time in the future.

Also I have bent up some square tubing for the main part of the gate. Looks like I'll have to get rid of the towhook and get a shackle or flip it permanently downwards.

Looks good Remi, How about a shackle? I know its a little more of a PIA but it could work.

That's what I'm thinking In all honesty I'm not using the hook anyways: I ussualy just feed the strap through the 2" receiver and use the pin.
