ok i was going to take off my NSS to try and clean it out, and i had the bolt off and the other large nut and was prying at it, but i could not get it, so i decided to bolt it back up and try it again tomorrow, but now the jeep will not crank at all.

On a 92 you can just find the two wires (one to and one from switch) and cut them off the switch...then splice them together. On newer models this would set a check engine light, but no problem on yours.

IT WILL BE ABLE TO CRANK WHILE IN GEAR THOUGH!

Check a wiring diagram to find out what color the wires are.

ok so i got it off and i find out the arm inside is snapped off, so the NSS is F'd, so can i splice two wires together to get it to run, i got to move it out of the garage.

Which two wire are they, there are 6 that go to the switch
