Jeep Specs

Im looking for a web site that has all the specs for my '89 Jeep, with weight, all engine specs, gear ratios, and just about everything else about it. I've looked on Google for almost two hours to no avail, mostly just what size engine is available was all i found, and that is definately not what I need.

Stock 242 bore is 3.875". Stroke is listed variously as 3.413", 3.4", and 3.44" - I'll typically take 3.413" unless I measure elsewise. Stock CR runs 8.7 (RENIX) to 8.8 (HO/OBD)

Valves are, as I recall, 1.91"/1.60" - but I'd have to check on that last.

Anything else?

Here are the specs for the Renix 4.0:

Bore = 98.4mm (3.876")
Stroke = 86.7mm (3.411")
Displacement = 3956cc (241.5ci)
CR = 8.7:1
Maximum HP: 177hp @ 4500rpm
Maximum TQ: 224lbft @ 2400rpm
Valve head diameters: 1.91" intake, 1.50" exhaust
Valve stem diameter: 8.0mm or 5/16"
Combustion chamber volume: ~58cc
Throttle body bore: 51mm (2.0")
Cam specs: 197* duration @ 0.050" lift, 0.424" valve lift, 112* LSA.
Rocker arm ratio: 1.6:1

Which tranny do you have? Auto or manual? 1989 was a crossover year from the Peugeot BA10/5 manual to the infinitely better AX15.

Its an auto trans, although I wish i had the AX-15 at times =)
Manual trans would make things much easier

Sorry to add to my list, but does anyone know the gears for the AW4 trans and the gross weight of a 2dr 4wd 89 cherokee?

AW4 2.804 1.531 1.000 0.753 (or .70 '87 to 90)

I have a 4.0L AW4 combo in my '84 J10 which is about 500 lbs more than an XJ. (4500 lbs empty)
