Speedo messed after regear

I regeared to 4.11's and im on 31's and m speedo is screwed right up. It says im doin about 80km when my GPS tells me im goin about 60. How do i fix this?

Also anyone have a write up on changing a axle shaft u-joint?

Change the speedometer gear in the transfer case to match your new ratio. Here is a link with info. http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoSpeedoGears.htm
 
yeah, just go to the stealership and get that gear for the speedo. it's in the tail housing of the transfercase. super easy to install and pretty cheap. you're looking about $14 for the gear at the dealership. don't go and learn the hard way and buy that stupid electric signal adjuster crap like another member did a few weeks ago. search for the post under OEM and it's there with a bit more info.

You need a 38 tooth gear to correct your speedo. Since there wasn't one available I had to choose between 37 or 39 tooth when I did my swap. Read his write up and it will "splain" everything.
