O2 sensor

When I checked with Autozone and Advance Auto, they were wanting about $80 for a OE style 02 sensor and $50 for a universal. Didn't like the idea of splicing wires, so I happend to check Federated and got an OE style for $47.

Check around a bit more.

the universal is a single wire right?

NO. they just don't have a plug on the end you have to use your current plug

the universal ones are very simple to hook up just cut yoru old plug off and splice the wires together with the supplied fittings. although i do like the plug and play ones better

Well not the autozone "universal" one. Thier "universal" one for my 90 renix was a single wire, I guess the 91 and newer cold be a multi-wire?

There OE is 49$ and their universal is 22$
