I’ve got a 91' Cherokee and I’ve got a Dana 35 rear axle 3.07 gears
today I went to school and was looking at our parts xj 91' w/ the tow package and its got a Chrysler 8.25 w/ 3.55 gears in 91' was it 29 or 27 spline?
my questions are is the 8.25 a better axle? and would it have a posi of some kind in it? is it hard to find after market gears and lockers for?
if I were to swap it in id be changing gears front and rear for 4.56 or 4.88's at the same time. if I wanted to swap it id just trade axles no cost
is it worth it?
