91 XJ transfer spline count?

Looking to replace the 231 in my wife's 94 that i blew up, have a line on a 91 242. From what i remember reading all transfers were 23 spline by the 91 model year....can anyone confirm.

I realize i'll need to swap the lever/linkage.

The 91 NP242 was indeed 23 spline.

Had to switch the speedo pickup as well as the shifter/linkage.
