Ok, I think I've figured out my horrible mileage is because of my IAT relocate and colder weather. I seem to get better mileage when it's warmer.
That being said, I want to purchase a 2nd IAT, and mount it in the stock location (currently plugged). I want to hook the output to the ECU from each IAT to a 2-way switch, thus enabling me to select which one to use. I was wondering if anybody knows which wire on the IAT is the signal line to the ECU, or knows where I could find suhc info.
Also, I think I've heard it makes lots of problems with OBD-II motors, but I was thinking about adding a variable resistor in-line for my relocated IAT, or possibly for both, so that I could tweak the fuel/air ratio. Am I correct in recalling this to be difficult/impossible?
Thanks for any help!
