Source for tire mount hardware

Anybody know of some sources for hing and latch hardware for making a swing-out tire carrier? My Google-fu sucks today.
 
I'm sorry, did your naxja console not come with the search button?

wasn't getting much there or off google. Found rock logic for the hinge but not having luck on a latch...thanks for caring though :worship:

if YOUR fabing one up you might want to make it a little more benifitial then just a tire carrier and use a hub to bolt the tire to the frame. You never really hear of a hub going out but its there in case you ever need it. And a used on you can pick up for like 25-30$...
 
Try McMaster Carr, they should have exactly what you need and tons of other neat & usefull stuff.

I love how people always take the time to tell you you should have searched (i.e., your wasting their time) when they could have just as easily taken that time to give you a usefull answer.

Way ahead of you. I already have 3 hubs sitting in my garage and itching to get stuck on there.
Yeah and I agree with the search comment. I may tell people to search but I at least try to get them going in the right direction.

How is that the same answer Dirk? Like I said I didn't come up with much when I first tried and then kept searching and found half of what I was looking for, then found the rest with the help David and others...Slamming someone is just dumb. Try being different and helping. I do see things posted quite a bit but sometimes the search is just bad....and what ever happened to just helping fellow Jeepers?
