Axle swap?

Any reason I couldent put the axles from a 87 4x4 with 4.11`s into my 95 with 3.55`s? is it worth while or will it even work?

87 what? chevy - ford - yugo??

if your talking about an 87 xj then yes but you would have to re-gear the frontend to match the rear.

if your talking about an 87 mj then some modification will be need. mj leaves are under the axle and the xj are over the axle. Still you will have to re-gear the front to match the rear.

He said axles, plural. That would indicate taking both. So no regearing.

It'll bolt up fine. Might have to do a CAD elimination.
