"Boosting" reception

My MJs radio doesnt seem to pick up stations as well as the rest of the cars I drive. Any way to get better reception?

New antenna.

Is the antenna in good shape?
Connector on cable in good shape?
Antenna ground in good shape?
Stock radio?
Aftermarket?
Cheap aftermarket?

Not all radios are created equal.

Its seemed to have gotton a litte worse over time, aftermarket radio.

I am gonna bet that one of the many antenna connections are either apart or on their way to becoming apart. YOu shoud check all of them..
1. Obviously behind the radio/stereo 2. In the passanger kick panel there is wire connection for the antenna 3. In the passanger fender where the antenna attaches to the wire.

I am gonna bet one of these areas arent right ..
