94 XJ rear main seal..

I have a ever present oil leak.

The dealer (i know i know)..
said they couldn't find the leak exactly so they put dye in the oil so they can trace it.

Anyone ever had to replace the rear main seal?
And the cost?

all 4.0L engines have leaky main seals (eventually)... not hard, just pain in the ass to do yourself:

Search as this topic has been covered very thoroughly before.
Oh yeah.. you don't have to pull the tranny, all you gotta do is drop the pan.
