d-30 locking?

i am not sure my front axle is locking and i has hauted my dreams recently so i need to fix it.
how can i check it and i did a search online and here
i traced 3 lines to nowhere that came from the passenger side of the axle any help or any write ups

wow... not even 20 minutes passed! Did you try here? Key word: Vaccum Disconnect.

Take a look here. Couple posts into it, the lines and their fuctions are described.
