backspace 4.5 or 3.75

for a 12.5 tire, get the 3.75. You will have some control arm issues with the 4.5 (I have run both with 32x11.5's, and the CA was close with 4.5's...)
 
I am running 35x12.50 w/4.5" backspacing on an 8" wheel and rub on the control arms. Go with 3.75. I wish I had.
 
I have Tech 1s which are either 4.25 or 3.75 and I beleive I have 4.25. I don't rub any:

If you absoloutly have to have that wheel, then I say go 3.75, but if your not dead set, go with 4"

I run 35x12.5's on 16x8 wheels with 4.5" of backspacing and I do not rub at all unless i'm turned full lock and at full stuff, and then I rub the fender well and not the control arms.
 
3.75
 
I run 33's on 3.75" BS 15x8's on 4" of lift and they work perfect.
