Winch Install

Thinking of installing a winch on my 2000 XJ. At the present time I cannot lift it due to having to take my 84 Year old mom to doctors, etc. When I install the winch and bumper what can I do to level it and what does the extra weight do as far as wear on the front end?

Easiest and cheapest way is a coil spacer or up-country springs (if your Jeep doesn't already have the up-country package). The extra weight on the front will create a bit of additional wear, but not enough to matter--don't worry about that.

Or... Go to a Junk Yard and get some front ZJ coils. When I put my Winch/Bumper on I lost about 3/4 of an inch in the front. ZJ coils give about 1" of lift on an XJ.

Any ideas for a winch bumper?
