Another quick answer needed

The Throttle Position Sensor on the outside is quite susceptible to damage from liquids.

After I am done and the problem diagnosed, I will give you an account on the whole saga. I am sure there would be a valuable lesson...
 
That's the only very-easily-maimed sensor. Oftentimes, a thorough pressure-washing will even kill it. There are scads of sensors under the hood, but safe money usually goes there first. And usually doesn't need to go much farther.
