Difference between 95-01 and 84-94 snorkel

I am looking at getting a safari snorkel for my 99 jeep cherokee. The later model snorkels are considerably cheaper thant he ones that are designed for my cherokee. Is there any real difference? Will I be fine with a older body style snorkel then? Thanks.

I believe the added cost comes from having to relocate the washer bottler on the new XJs. It is in the way of one of the holes that has to be drilled for the snorkel to go through the fender.

I have an old to new application..... doesn't seem like there's much difference in the body styling or anything. I mounted it up fine. Like Fergie said; fender washer bottle relocation issues.... when you figuure how to mount it again let me know! lol

I think I'm just going to go ahead and get the older jeep snorkel. I can handle relocating that bottle on my own for that much money.
