Well, i found a guy with a newer 4.0HO and i need to know how hard it is to make that work in my older xj. Has anyone done this before? what wiring modifications? do i need a different computer? and so on...Thanks for input guys!

It has been discussed serveral times recently on the board, you could try searching for topics like RENIX, HO, engine swap etc...

The easiest way to do it boils down to using the HO mechanical parts of the engine (such as manifolds) while adapting the electrical parts of the engine (such as the throttle body assembly) to the block. Ok, its a little more detailed than this but thats the essential part, HO engine, renix electronics. Search for topics, exactly what needs to be done has been discussed.
