i got a line on a used superwinch ep6.0 the guy had it on a yj and it has never stalled on him , is it true that superwinch underrates their winches, this thing has pulled my xj out of mud so deep that it burried my spare tire that i put the highlift on and the front tire never came out of the mud

yeah their old stuff was good, the new stuff is made in china and I wouldn't trust it and 6000 lbs in too small. Houisng have been know the crack in half of the chinese crap.

sorry i just want to know if this thing is gonna be good ? i know the factory supplied xj winch was a ramsey 6000 lb or was it 5000 ?

That China comment is misinformation......
I'd really like to see a picture on that one broken in half as well.
The 6 is a'lil under rated for an XJ.....it has a 3.6hp motor, the 9 has a 4.6hp
motor.....Bottom line though is, if its a smokin deal & you like it...grab it.
