Thanks, XJjeepLess, that was exactly what I needed. I've been having trouble with the trans that I swapped into my CJ (been getting hot at highway speeds / torque conv. not locking) so while I was replacing the kickdown cable yesterday I noticed the 2 metal lines toward the rear are dented and I wanted to confirm that they should be and that the PO didn't damage the trans. Funny I never noticed them in all the times I've serviced my XJ.
