Heater Hose Routing

00 XJ,4.0,AW4.
My FSM has a picture of heater hose routing, it shows hose from t/stat housing to lower heater fitting, hose from w/pump to upper heater fitting.
My XJ is hooked up opposite to this, and suffers from low temp output.
Does anyone have a 00 that can look and tell me which way theirs is hooked up?
I did a search, but only found threads related to early model XJ.

I'm going to be changing hoses on my '00 this weekend, so I'll take a look.

Heater hoses shoul be 2 sizes 5/8" 3/4" match up to heater valve and to heater core.....you should be good to go

The upper heater core hose is connected to the t-stat (goes over the upper rad hose). The lower core hose goes to the pipe just below the upper rad hose.

I don't have low heat output issues. Mine is a '00 4.0L.
