will a set of m-9593-c304 19# injectors work in a '90 xj , 4.0? Tech Spec shows m-9593-c302 will work and I was wondering if there was enough difference to matter between the two injectors.

I don't have the ford pn to check, but I run ford fuel injectors in my 1990- about 2 years now, no problems at all. If you identify application, you may be able to cross check that application compared to 1990 4.0 jeep engine by listings at fiveomotorsport. That's where I bought mine.
