Where to get headbolts?

Ok well headbolts.com no longer carries 4.0 headbolts anymore and nobody i can think of carries them...been to every parts store, and about 10 different online jeep sites and no luck....stealership wants $12 a piece....anybody have a clue?

ARP shows them as PN 112-3601

well i was trying not to spend $100 for them...stock headbolts should be around the $40 range...

What year.....I was talking with headbolt.com and they said they did have them for 97 to 04.

Anybody know the difference between headbolts pre and post 97? I thought they were pretty much the same.

I thought they were too. I told them I was looking for '90 bolts and they said all they had were 97-o4....beats me.

Early engines had all the head bolts down the drivers side configured with a threaded stud on top. Maybe the new ones are not that way. Heck you only need one threaded to do the ground to the firewall and you can cheat on that.

Correct. However, it's also entirely possible to install an overlength stud in the rearmost manifold hole (which will allow room for another nut and the terminal) or to find a tapped hole in the manifold to use for the same purpose...

Nope. Those are for the 258 head. ARP don't list 4.0 head bolts in their catalog.

That's because they ARE the same for all years from '87-'05.
