When I aquired my XJ the A/C Compressor was shot. Got to looking and the condensor coils are all beat up as well. I dont plan on shelling oout the expense to replace all the A/C components to working order, so I was wondering if I could unhook the lines going from the condensor to the evaporator and evaporator to the block by the heater core. Basically remove the entire system. Anything I should look out for? The freon has already been recovered.
