Replacement leaf spring clamps

If you want your springs to flex to their maximum, youll need to use the "open" style. You can easily make them, attaching them is alot harder!

I just finished the S-10 lift myself. I made my own spring clamps using 1" strap steel. I cut the straps 7" long and bent them to fit around the leaf pack. Then I drilled 3/8 holes near the ends so that I could just barely slide a grade 8 bolt through on the top side of the pack. Then I tightened the bolts down just tight enough that the clamps didnt move, but not too tight.

Just yet another idea for ya out there.
As a matter of fact, I got the idea from a local 4X4 shop, then that idea was re-enforced when I found a write up on the S-10 leaf pack build. (Sorry, I can't remember the exact address to the write-up. Maybe someone else knows off the top of their head?)

Good luck!
