Need to switch out my rotors/pads. Is this a straight take out and replace? or is there any adjustments I have to make at all? I believe they just replaced them when I had them done in Seattle over a year ago. Just want to make sure before I start in on it. Thanks!

Thanks, that's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure before I did it as this is the first time I'm doing this. Better to ask basic questions than assume and screw something up.

While you're at it, you should check the caliper mounting/slide pins for binding/corrosion and their rubber dust boots. Replace/relube if necessary. That way you can assure yourself of even wear on the new parts.

You can buy a "brake hardware kit" or small parts kit that includes pins, clips, and springs (drum). Always a good idea to replace these parts as needed.

hey i work in a brake shop and if your going to be repacing the pads in the front check the boot around the caliper piston for signs of cracking or rips.also make sure your lines and piston arn't leaking

and if your going to replace rear shoes check the wheel cylyinder for signs of leaking too

these are just some helpful tips to protect u from brake system failure if u have any other questions ill be happy to help
