this is my first jeep, it looks like this xj has been sitting for a while and its over heating, the fan is turning on and we just changed the fluid. what could be wrong? i heard from some one that it might have something to do with the lines and pressure.

How many miles on the current radiator? Are the fins clean? Getting good flow through the whole radiator? Fan clutch in good shape? Radiator may be clogged or you may have air trapped in the system. There is a write up in getting all the air out of the cooling system.
