How much fender can i trim on my MJ?

I want to be able to clear at least 35s with only 2-4 inches of lift. I don't care about sheet metal and was wondering how much fender can i trim without causing any problems. The rear has already been taken care of, so it is just the front I am curious about.

i assume you mean structural problems, not problems of legality or being just plain ugly... right?

the front fenders aren't structural to the uni-body, feel free to remove them completely or hack as much as you want.

Te limiting facto pn how much you can trim is the inner fender. Like Pete said the outer fender is just there for looks. Here is a video link to my MJ to give you an idea of how much to trim.
