Well my Jeeps back in the garage... I was going to the mountains and my compressor started stinking and It seemed as if the bearings on the pulley were going bad. I had to drive over 2 hours back on the bad bearings and by the time i got home we were pushing it into the garage. So there it sits...again. Im not sure whether its a all around bad compressor or just the pulley. The pulley is definantly bad because when I spin it the bearings are falling out but when I spin the clutch at first it would grind but then more bearings would fall out and it spun pretty smoothly.

Is there a way to figure out whether its just the pulley or whole compressor?
