Link Tubing size?

My personal favorite is chromo 1.5x.120

Some say it is too small, but I've used it on long arms and landed on them multiple times and never had one bend or yield.

If you are running DOM, I would go larger and thicker.

I'm going to be useing 2x2 .250wall square tubing for my lower rear links. Square is stronger in bending than round of similar size if the force is coming from a known side (the bottom). Some don't like the aesthetics of square tube however.

For DOM I would use 2" .250 wall for links 30-40 inches (if they're really long you need bigger tubing). 1.75 .375 wall or 1.5 .500 wall would be good also. Most comp buggies are running solid aluminum links these days, something to look into while you're at it.

I helped my friend link his YJ on Rockwells with this stuff; 2.5" .500wall DOM and 1.25 EVO joints :greensmok
