Lowering the Transfer case

If you shim the cross member to lower the transfer case do you have to shim the purchs on the rear diff. to keep the u-jionts on the drive shaft in sink?

the angles SHOULD be the same, but vibrations are interesting - id put the t-case drop in, and then drive it, then figure out shims...

It is best that you do and it also release even more angle from the lower joint and increases you slip yoke engagment slightly too. I found that a 1" drop with a 2 degree shim works well. See my site on how to make your own drop.
