spring length

Im planning on putting ~6"+/- alcans under the rear of my 84 xj. Im wondering how long of a spring I can get. My dumb bass didnt measure my stock ones before they left for the scrap yard. What lengths have yall run and how do they flex.

well - the lift packs that are much of anything more than 4.5" are usualy to short IMO and result in some less than ideal shackle angles.

The big thing to do with toyota guys is run 63" chevy springs with the idea of keeping them long and less arched to flex better, but that means some custom spring mounting locations...
