overhead console stopped working

My overhead console stopped working. I drove it Tuesday and it was fine. Today I can to work and the thermometer and the compass doesn’t work. If I push on the buttons the lights will blink on, but go out right away. Has anyone else have problems with this.
I think I need a new Jeep.

What model and what year ? I just finally got mine working good after a whole 2 days of fun...

It's a 92 Laredo. I had the consloe down yesterday and now it's working.? Bad ground or something?
