Speedo Gear?

I remember reading stuff about how when you go with bigger tires you need to change the speedo gear near the trany. Where can i purchase one? Im running 33''

depending on whether or not you also changed gears you would need the right speedo gear. check out this site to see which one you need. i bought mine at the dealer, $16. good luck.

I am regearing with new tires. The chart does not have my application. I have searched and can"t come up with a formula or chart to find out the correct speedo gear for 36'' tires and 5.13 gears. Can any one :helpme: ?

those charts are sort of off. I "should" need a 39 tooth for my 89 with 33's and 4.56 but the speedo is now ~5mph off. 30 is more like 34.5 and over 45 is really goes out of wack. I tired adjusting the gear position but there only one way it fits in the t-case housing. speeds are GPS based. Might try dropping down to a 37 tooth.
