Hello This is my first post and I am writing from mexico.
I wil be traveling to the U.S. soon and I would like to buy a 3" lift kit
for my '88 XJ. All the kits that I have seen on ebay and other off road
sellers offer the kits but they do not come with the pitman arm.
my question is for a 3" lift do I also have to change this pitman arm?
also my fuel injectors are begining to leak, are O-rings kits available
or do I have to buy the whole injectors new? and is there a part number
for the O-rings kit?

Welcome to NAXJA

Most three inch lift kits don't come with the pitman arm because it is not needed. I currently have the Rough Country three inch lift and it is working good for me. Most people who run the smaller lifts have not changed their pitman arms. As far as replacing the o-rings on the injectors that is able to be done but I don't know for sure if there is a kit for the rings. You don't have to change the injectors, just change the rings. Try some searching on this site and nine out of ten times you will get what you are looking for.

As has been noted, you don't need a drop pitman arm @ 3" - I am at 4.5" and it's still not needed. The leaky fuel injector could be an o-ring problem, or if the body of the injector is leaking it's time to replace the whole thing. http://fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsJEEP.asp

Are you coming by road or cross country.:us:

Injector o-rings can be purchased from a Jeep dealer, and come in sets--2 for each injector and one (I think) for the pressure regulator. Pay close attention to where the leak is coming from. XJ injectors (older ones, like in the '88 4.0L) commonly leak arround the body; obviously, o-rings won't fix that.
