Are the clutches interchangeable on 4.0 models 1989 and up with ax15 transmission?Thanks

As long as you change the bellhousing when you go to the external slave clutch they all swap over.
<edit> I just realized that your question is somewhat vague. There are differences between some of hte internal components, but you can take the whole clutch setup and swap it in between the years.

the reason I asked is I am doing a external conversion...was just wondering if I should go with 95 up clutch on my 89,I figure yes because the newer kits have the standard,non hydrolic throw out bearing which is used on the 95 on up external slave models,right?
