I think this would be a great mod. To press a three inch jj into the xj leaf spring. Im thinking it would have to be machined on the inside to acept the retaining clip. Anybody think tis would work?, man it would sure flex.

There is nothing new about this idea, its been on the market for some time.No real value since your flex is mainly derived from the "arch/spring rate" and not the bushings themselves!

It does work. It flexes a bit better than with rubber, and even more better than with poly. Some other advantages are it puts less wear on the leaf springs because they get twisted much less, and you don't have to replace bushings from twisting them up too much.

Search for google for "aor orbit eyes"

is the ID of the XJ spring wrap 3"?

This is actual a subject of debate, wether they work or not. Guys that have them have went both ways, work awesome and don't notice a difference. I would say they are all that. Sure it will relive some of the twisting of the leaf sdpring but it seem like the tension in the springs would be a good thing, want to push the tire down.
