Webbing

As part of my effort to make the Jeep safe for a new son that is on order, I'd like to isolate the passenger area from the cargo area. I'm thinking of nylon webbing of the sort you see used as window nets in NASCAR. I think i've seen similar stuff used in military applications for holding stuff down in airplanes, etc.

I need a piece that is about 5'x4', and I can trim and sew to exact size. Anybody have a source for this stuff? Military surplus would seem to be the most affordable.

My Googling has brought up window sized stuff, but nothing big enough for my needs.

Any leads are appreciated........

edit: Something like this, but not the outrageous price:

just an idea if you're looking at making something yourself. This is the Raingler pet barrier net, if you haven't already seen it.

I think that one might work perfectly! Better yet, no fabbing for once......

Thanks Jason!

If you thought that netting you posted was pricey, you won't like the price on that Raingler net... ~$120. I absolutely love mine though. I also have the cargo net that's shown in the Raingler pic (got it after I did the write-up on the pet barrier net). If you're interested, give me a shout and I'll see what I can do on pricing.

FWIW, here's a link to my review on the net: http://www.jeepin.com/features/barriernet/index.asp

Well, that other stuff was $15-$24 a square foot, and I'd still need to tag and sew the ends. I figured on needing 8 square feet, so the Raingler one seems pretty reasonable, especially since it's already formed to the area I want to put mine in.

Thanks for the review!

I hit 30 and started getting lazy.

I'm not yet 30 and already am lazy... I guess there's little hope of me getting back on the trails then.

I bought mine at a military suplus.
$25
