When driving at speed 55-75mph it seems if I accelerate the ac blower cuts out. I believe the vents are controlled with vacuum so I’m wondering if I have a lack of adequate vacuum when traveling under these conditions that is causing my vents to close down.
I may be way way off, but this is getting vary annoying and I’m getting ready to take the xj on a trip to Colorado end of next month. And don’t want the wife to try and make me take the car and stick to the road if that happens I think ill die.
Any suggestions on how to find out my real problem and fix it would be much appreciated.
