Ash tray removal?

I am oging to be installing one of Brett's AW4 shifters, and I want to put in in the spot where the ash tray goes. I have a 97 and I cant seem to be able to figure out how to remove it without taking out the entire center console. What is it holding in the piece of trim surrounding the little door? Anyone able to tell me how to get it out without destroying the console? I dont need the ash tray anymore, so that can get broken. Thanks for the help.
